| The Rev. Neal E. Snider has served as a Lutheran parish pastor in Montana, Washington, and Oregon. Neal Snider is the only chaplain in the history of the United States to have held a commission as a chaplain in all of the military services: Air Force, Army, and Navy (Marines, Coast Guard, and Seabees are served by Navy chaplains). Snider holds a Master of Divinity degree from Augsburg Theological Seminary (1960) and a Master of Theology degree from Luther Theological Seminary (1984). Snider’s previously published works include A Letter to Jabez (Augsburg Books, 2004) and Spring Training for Christians (Augsburg Books, 2004). Newest project: Daily Walks with Saints and Sinners is the product of Snider’s work while completing a D.Min. degree from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (publisher pending). |
