| Dr. Spencer serves as Professor of Communication Studies at Westmont College. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy, Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Oregon, 1985, an M.S. in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Oregon, and a B.S. in Speech Communication from California State Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo.
His books include A Heart For Truth: Taking Your Faith to College (Baker, 1992), The Welkening: A Three Dimensional Tale (Howard, 2004), and Guardian of the Veil: A Three Dimensional Tale, (Howard/Simon & Schuster, 2007).
